I had a knack for turning old, run-down pieces of furniture into beautiful pieces that made great additions to my home. I did this for years until one day I realized that I should be doing this full time—that I needed to be doing this full time. It was what truly made me happy.  Starting in my garage in 2010,  I went to work daily, finding items and meticulously restoring them.  Often times I would give them a paint makeover—these painted pieces seemed to get the most attention.

After a couple of years, I moved out of my garage and into a small workshop with an attached showroom.  I was now able to showcase the finished pieces properly and not in my little, dirty garage.  

Within a few years I was ready for the next step and on March 13, 2015 District the storefront opened its doors.
